Ennis, MT Veteran’s Memorial

Well – we finally made it to Montana – camped free on Meadow Lake and, in addition to a beautiful sunset, ended up with a free fireworks display as put on by nearby neighbors!

The sunset at Meadow Lake from our camper window was stunning.

While pulling into town Ric spotted a Veteran’s memorial so we checked it out – it was a pretty good tribute – and an excellent commitment to keep the memories.  Here’s the pictures!

The memorial was comprised of this statue, 14 memorial walls made from bricks inscribed with the Veteran’s name and a large flag pole with all the service emblems in it’s base. Here is a close-up of one of the 14 walls –
